Interview with Kévin Mills, Former Site Manager and Host Couple at Châteauform’.

Today, we are delighted to share an exclusive interview with Kévin Mills, former Site Manager – Host Couple at Châteauform', with whom we had the pleasure of collaborating on the equipment of their Cély venue. Kévin kindly agreed to answer our questions about this partnership and the integration of our Fogo radiators.

Could you introduce yourself and tell us a bit about your role at Châteauform’?

I was the Director of Châteauform’ in Cély. Each Châteauform’ venue is managed by a host couple who live on site and oversee its day-to-day operations.

How and when did your collaboration with Fogo begin?

We first met Fogo at the Equip’Hôtel trade fair in Paris. We were very impressed by your products and decided to get in touch after the event to place a test order.

Why did you choose Fogo radiators for your venue?

We needed towel warmers that could be controlled remotely. With 156 rooms, the ability to manage radiators through an app represented a huge time-saver for our technical teams. In addition, the option to customize radiator colors was another key factor in our decision.

Which Fogo radiator models were installed at Châteauform’?

We installed Sintra 1000 towel warmers, as our facilities are starting to age and the rooms are primarily heated with a reversible air-conditioning system.

How did the installation of the radiators go?

The Fogo team came on site to handle the installation. They were very flexible and adapted to our booking schedule to make sure no rooms were blocked.

How has the installation of Fogo radiators impacted the atmosphere and comfort in your spaces?

The new anthracite towel warmers blend seamlessly with the design of our bathrooms and have truly become a part of the décor. Their sleek design and rounded shapes make them visually appealing — which is quite rare for towel warmers.

Have your guests or visitors made any comments about the Fogo radiators?

Yes, one guest actually complimented us on our choice of towel warmer. I believe she even went on to order some for herself!

Have you noticed a reduction in energy costs since their installation?

At this stage, we don’t yet have enough hindsight to quantify the savings. However, one thing is certain: they only operate when needed — that is, when the room is occupied — unlike our previous models, which ran continuously.

Is there anything in particular you’ve enjoyed about using Fogo products?

Their remote controllability! We have several rooms spread across multiple buildings, and the Fogo app makes it possible to manage the radiators individually or group them by building. This allows us to switch them on or off and adjust the temperature with ease.

Do you plan to continue collaborating with Fogo in the future?

I have since left my role at Châteauform’, but I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Fogo to my successors.
